In PBU you can edit green screen photos after they've been taken to remove or add back in areas that have been keyed out. This is useful for eliminating unsightly shadows, removing edges of the green screen, or adding back in a green piece of clothing.

Part 1 will show you how to retouch a green screen photo AFTER it is taken

Part 2 will show you how to retouch the Green Screen BEFORE photos are taken.

Part 1. Retouch After Photo

1.
Enable Photo Edit in PBU Preferences.

2.

After taking a photo with green screen, select Edit Photo.

3.

In the Edit Photo Window, select Green Screen Retouch. Notice the buttons and sliders on the right? You'll use those to remove more of the image, keep more of the image, or reset what you've done. You can also adjust the brush size and edge softness with the sliders. In the picture below you can see I've left an unsightly door in the frame. I'll remove it in the next step.

4.
Simply draw over the area you want to eliminate and watch it magically disappear! Press the Keep button if you would like to add back something that was mistakenly removed.

5.

Press OK to save your changes.

Part 2. Retouch Before Photo

1.

Select the Green Screen tab in PBU settings, and double click the thumbnail of the Green Screen you would like to edit.

2.

In the edit window, click the white arrow next to Color Adjustments several times until you get to the Green Screen Retouch section.

3.

The controls are identical to the Green Screen Retouch in Part 1. Use Remove to take away from the Photo Holder, and Keep to put sections of the Photo Holder back in.

4.

Press OK to save your settings.
