When processing items from PBU, you may see a lot of red, white, and/or blue LAV icons in the system tray. This is nothing to worry about and is representative of the PBU Processor working normally. It has no detrimental effects on performance.


However, these icons may be a nuisance, so to prevent them from appearing follow these steps:


1.

Press the Start button, and in the list of programs find the K-Lite Codec Pack folder. Click on LAV Audio, LAV Splitter, and LAV Video.


2.

In the windows that pop up for each, un-check "Enable System Tray Icon" and press OK.
