Welcome to Part 2 of our Photo Booth Upload Getting Started tutorial! If you haven't gone through Part 1 yet, please do so first. You can find Part 1 HERE.
In this section we'll focus on the Camera Settings tab of PBU Settings. This is where you'll adjust exposure, resolution, aspect ratio, etc., for the three available cameras in PBU. Webcams, Canon DSLRs, and Point Grey Slow Motion cameras. Let's get started!

On the Main Screen of PBU, Press S on your keyboard or triple click the bottom right corner of the screen to open Settings.

You should now see the Preferences tab of PBU Settings. At the top, click the tab second from left to open Camera Settings.

Welcome to Camera Settings! There's a lot to go over, but as before we'll only touch on the most important things.
At the top of the Camera Settings section there are 4 main options: Photo Camera, Video Camera, Main Screen Camera, and Burst Camera:
- Photo Camera lets you choose the camera used for still images and regular GIFs.
- Video Camera lets you choose the camera used for videos including slow motion.
- Main Screen Camera is what you see on the Main Screen before you select an option. For example: If you have DSLR set for Photo and Main Screen Camera, and Slow Motion Camera for Video, you will always see the DSLR live view on the screen until you select the Video option.
- Burst Camera is the camera used for Burst Mode GIFs.
Below and to the right of those options is the Mirror Camera Preview check box. Checking it will flip the preview image horizontally, making the live view more like a mirror. This makes it much easier for guests to place themselves in the photo! It only affects the preview and will not flip the final image. Be advised that any graphics you have will also be flipped in the preview.
To the left of that are three buttons for Webcam, DSLR, and Slow Motion Camera. Clicking any of them will display the options for that camera underneath the buttons, and show the live view for that camera in the Preview window on the right.

Click the DSLR button to display the options for your DSLR camera.
Note: Your DSLR must be connected to the PC via USB, powered on, and set to Manual mode. If everything is set properly and you see "DSLR Camera not detected," press the Refresh button.
We'll continue this tutorial for DSLR only. If you don't have a DSLR connected, feel free to adjust settings for Webcam. For fine webcam adjustments, click Configure in the Video Device section.

The most important button in this section is the DSLR Settings button at the top center. Click it and a small window should appear:
This window will allow you to adjust settings for Shutter Speed (Tv), Aperture (Av), ISO, and White Balance (WB). If you don't know what those are, have a look at our exposure tutorial HERE.
Adjust some settings in Live View/Burst and you should see those changes immediately reflected in the preview on the right.
Select Photo to the right of Live View/Burst. You'll see some new buttons, but the exposure options are the same.
You'll need to make adjustments to BOTH Live View and Photo. This is because the camera flash will significantly change the lighting in the image, and your settings will have to be different to compensate.
Make some adjustments and click the Preview Photo Settings button to have the DSLR take a photo and display it in the preview window for a few seconds.
Once you're satisfied with the way your images look, hit OK to close the pop up, and then OK at the bottom of the screen to save your settings.
That's it for Camera Settings! We're making lots of excellent progress. You should now be able to take good looking pictures and save them where you want.
