This guide will explain what are the functions of the various folders within Muse Mosaic.

There are a lot of folders within the Muse Mosaic's folder directory. Below is an explanation for each folder, what their functions are, and how to locate them.

1. Muse Mosaic: This is the default folder that comes with the installation of the Muse Mosaic software. This is the root folder which contains all the other folders. It is usually default installed onto the Desktop unless explicitly specified to be installed somewhere else on the computer during the installation process. It is recommended that this folder remains on the Desktop as it affects how backup files are saved to the Backups folder.

2. Backup: This folder contains the full backup zip files created from the "Data Backup" section within the Muse Mosaic software. This folder also contains your session backup zip files when you choose to backup a copy of your existing session via the "Clear Photos and Prints" button. This folder is located within the Muse Mosaic Folder (Desktop/Muse Mosaic/Backup).  *The Backups folder is only created when you do a backup via "Clear Photos and Prints" or from the "Data Backup" section. The folder does not come during the default installation process.

3. Projects: The projects folder contains all your saved Muse Mosaic settings. Any configurations you made and then selectively chose to save via File -> Save Mosaic Settings. The settings files are saved as ".mpr" and can be copied and pasted into the Projects folder of any Muse Mosaic software. You can then import that file using the File -> Load Mosaic Settings option to load your pre-configured mosaic settings. This folder is located within the same directory as the Backup Folder (Desktop/Muse Mosaic/Projects).

4. Sources: This folder contains all the graphics used for billboard, logo and density maps.
