This tutorial will cover the Location Logs within the Miscellaneous Tab.

Location Log

The location log plays a vital role in maintaining the integrity of the mosaic grid by recording the locations of each placed image. This information is invaluable in tracking each image and its location on the grid, especially if it is misplaced on the physical mosaic grid.

1. File Names with Print Locations: This section shows the names of the placed images and the locations on the digital mosaic where the photos were placed, which correspond directly to the locations on the physical mosaic.

2. Placed Image Preview: This section is a powerful tool for users to view and manage the location log data. Users can view a preview of the placed image by selecting a record of location log data from the left. They can also double-click this image to open it with their computer's default image viewer, giving them complete control over the data.

3. Search Box: This box allows you to enter the location of a placed image and display it in the Preview viewer. Searching for a placed image using its location will also display a preview of the image within the viewer.

The location log data is extremely helpful in tracking down misplaced images on the physical mosaic.
