You can create standard or burst GIFs using the GIF creator.
Click the gear icon on a GIF node in your Booth Design layout to open the settings for that node.
From here, select the Create New option (use "Browse My Library" to choose from video activations you've already created on your account).
When you create a new GIF, you are presented with several options.
Always name your creations, that way you can find them in your library later.
If you select "Burst" a series of photos will be taken in rapid succession, kind of like a little video. When capturing burst GIFs, you're better off with more photos than less.
If you select "Manual" each photo in the GIF will be captured separately (using whatever capture/trigger method is set for the event).
You can also select the size of the GIF you're creating.
If you're using Background Removal ( Green Screen or Auto ) with your GIF, you can enable that here. With Green Screen enabled, you can then resize, reposition, or rotate the guest photo holder in the preview on the right.
You can also upload a background image for you green screen, and you have the option to ad an overlay.
With green screen disabled, background and guest placement becomes irrelevant, but you can still add an overlay to the GIF if you like.
You can add an Auto-Filter to you GIF by clicking "Auto-Filter" and selecting from the carousel of options.
Once you're done on the first page, click "Next" to finish up on page 2.
On page 2, you have a few more options. First, the Frames per Second slider will set the playback speed of your GIF. For Burst GIFs comprised of many photos, a higher FPS number might work best.
For a Manual GIF, a lower number might work best, so that each photo has time to be seen.
You can enable Reverse/Boomerang if you'd like for the GIF your guests to create to play back in reverse (keep in mind that if you save this as a video, also, it will double the file size and video duration).
If Save as Video is enabled, the GIF created using this node is saved and shared as a video file rather than as a .gif file.
Enabling Save as Video will present you with some additional Video Options.
# of Loops will determine the number of times your gif activation will play back in the video that's created by the app, when the guest chooses this GIF activation.
You can also add an Audio Track that will play along with the video that's created when this GIF activation is used in the app. This feature supports mp3 audio files.
