In order to use Landmark, you will need to purchase a Package. Packages are available in two tiers, Basic and Pro, and can be purchased Per Event, Per Month, or Per Year, and there are a variety of Add-Ons available, depending on your selection.
UNDERSTANDING YOUR CHOICES
Choosing the right package for your event is important. You don't want to end up with less than you need, and you don't want to pay for Pro features that you don't intend to use.
Whenever you choose a package you'll be making two main choices -- the tier and the time frame. Each package has both.
- The tiers are "Basic" which has limited features, and "Pro" which includes all available features.
- The time frames are "Per Event" (which is one day), "Per Month" and "Per Year."
So, you can have basic per event, a pro per event, a basic monthly, a pro monthly, a basic yearly, or pro yearly to choose from.
All packages are priced to include a single iPad license which can be transferred but can only be used on one device at a time. Additional iPad licenses can be purchased using the "Additional iPad" Add-On, available for all package options.
BASIC vs. PRO
Basic
...packages are for cost conscious Landmark users who only need the bare bones features of Landmark. It excludes Green Screen, Photo Editing, Custom Start Screens, Survey & Disclaimers, and Age Gates. Also, all Unique URL content is limited to the design template we provide (no custom HTML) and a Photo Party Upload brand link will appear at the bottom of all shared microsites.
Add-ons are available for all basic events which allow you to purchase "Green Screen" for your Basic event, or "White Label" which allows for custom HTML and removes PPU branding on the microsites.
Basic events cannot be upgraded to Pro events, after the fact.
Pro
...packages, on the other hand, include all the features that Landmark has to offer.
PER EVENT
What "Per Event" really means is that it's one event for one day. Whether Basic or Pro, selecting this package will limit your event to an exact 24-hour time frame beginning on your start date/time.
As with all events, up until your start time, all content created using the event will have a "test" watermark and the event will be in "Test" status. Once the start time is reached, the event goes Live and the watermark is removed from content created from that point on. Once the end time is reached, the event is over and will not longer be selectable in the app.
Additional days can be purchased, however, using the "Additional Days" ADD-ON.
PER MONTH & PER YEAR
Per Month and Per Year packages function the same as each other, aside from their durations, and they work similarly to how "Per Event" works with a couple of important differences.
A monthly or yearly package can host more than one sequential event in that time. We say "sequential" because the events cannot overlap. You can have one event right after the other, and those events can have any duration you want so long as it's within start/end date range of your Package.
For example, on a Monthly package, you could setup a single month-long event, a different event every day for the whole month, four week-long events, one 28-day event and one 2-day event -- it's entirely up to you. The same is true for a yearly package.
If you want to create a new event and add it to an existing Package, select the package you want to use from the dropdown at the beginning of the CREATE NEW EVENT process.
Please note that, once created, events cannot be transferred between packages.
