Introducing Casa.
The portable enclosed photo booth that redefines the classic photo booth experience.
Lightweight, customizable, and sleek—Casa is built for weddings, branded activations, and events that want more than just a backdrop.
CASA BOOTH BUILD
STEP 1
Start by unzipping the soft rolling case bag containing all the CASA photo booth poles.
Once open, take out all the poles from the bag. There should be a total of twenty-three poles plus one flat aluminum bar.
There are green-labeled poles, blue-labeled poles, yellow-labeled poles, as well as a flat aluminum bar for the entrance of the booth, and a red-labeled curtain rod bar.
STEP 2
Now that the poles are separated, let’s start by building the green-labeled poles that have a bungee string going through them. Lay them down on the floor in an inverted E or E shape and start connecting the joints to one another.
Since they have a bungee cord going through the poles, connecting them should be pretty straightforward. Once the first set of poles is connected, do the same for the other one, making sure that all joints are snapped in correctly.
STEP 3
With both bungee-corded sections completed, connect them to the open joint so that you form a square.
Now do the same with the other E section of the pole, connecting joint number 8 to number 4. You will end up with two 8-shaped pole sections.
Do the same on the other part on the other part of the E section.
STEP 4
With the two 8-shaped pole sections completed, take the other 38” pole and follow the numerical color pattern, connecting one pole to each of the 6 remaining joints on the pole.
STEP 5
Once the initial structure is complete, connect the two 8-shaped sections by flipping one on top of the other structure.
With both structures in place, finish the tower by snapping all the joints into their corresponding joints.
You will end up with a tower-like structure.
Finally, flip it up and it should stand freely.
STEP 6
With the tower section of the booth complete, you can start building the blue-labeled poles.
It’s easiest to build this section of the frame by laying down the poles on the floor, starting by building the top squared section.
The middle part of the pole top square has a slightly longer connector but slides in similarly to the other joint.
With the top square complete, do the same for the bottom square section.
STEP 7
With the blue-labeled section complete, you can start building the yellow poles. Start by snapping in the yellow pole numbered 17.
STEP 8
Then flip up to the blue frame so that you can connect the number three yellow pole to the green pole tower section of the booth frame.
Then connect the bottom yellow pole to the frame.
Then connect the middle yellow pole section.
STEP 9
Finally, connect the curtain rod pole to the top section of the structure.
Then add the flat aluminum bar for the entrance of the booth.
STEP 10
With the enclosed booth frame part complete, we can attach the EdgeGlide Panels.
Start by draping the top EdgeGlide Panel, and connect the 4 corners of the frame by tucking the silicone edge of the fabric into its channel. Do the same with the three remaining corners of the fabric.
With the silicone edge all tucked in, you can now press the silicone edge into the channel, attaching the Panel securely on each of the panels of the CASA roof.
STEP 11
With the top EdgeGlide Panel in place, start attaching the seat EdgeGlide Panel opposite of the tower. Connect the two top corners of the EdgeGlide Panel.
Then connect the bottom two corners of the EdgeGlide Panel.
Once all four corners are connected, slide the bottom silicone edge through the bottom channel of the frame.
Do the same with the top of the edge of the EdgeGlide Panel.
Then followed by the two side panels of the EdgeGlide fabric.
The silicone edge should go into its groove easily but may also take a bit of playing with in order to go in smoothly.
STEP 12
Now go to the backside of the CASA booth frame and connect the sidewall EdgeGlide Panel to it. In the same way as the two previous panels, connect the 4 corners of the EdgeGlide Panel first.
With the four corners connected, slide the silicone edge into the channel groove, starting with the bottom side of the EdgeGlide Panel.
Once the bottom is attached, you can slide the top silicone edge of the EdgeGlide Panel.
Finally, do the same with both sides of the EdgeGlide Panel.
At this point, since the EdgeGlide Panel is taut, the last side of the panel might feel slightly more difficult to slide in.
STEP 13
With the three EdgeGlide Panel panels securely placed, let’s install the CASA rolling case.
Open the two metal latches on the front of the case. Once open, take out all the components inside the case.
Inside, you will find:
Now that the components are outside of the case, roll into the bottom tower part of the CASA frame.
Then screw in the monitor/camera pole into the top of the case,
The screw in the light pole and its middle pole section with the adapter to hold the light.
With both poles screwed into the case, take the strobe light and secure it to the back pole, adjusting the light with the side knob and tightening with the bottom knob of the light.
Separate the black light cover
then connect the power adapter,
followed by the 3.5mm sync cable.
Finally, slide both cables into the plastic cable organizer located on the pole.
Now, take the camera and connect it to the monitor/camera pole Z-mount using the screw. Once tightened, rotate the camera so it’s facing forward, then connect the dummy battery cable to the power supply
followed by the USB-C cable
And connect the 3.5mm cable to the hotshoe.
Finally, slide both cables into the plastic cable organizer located on the pole.
Once that is done, let’s build the printer riser. Take the four screwable tray legs and screw them into the top tray. These can be screwed in any order.
With the feet all tightened, flip the tray, place it on top of the CASA equipment case, and place the printer power cable and USB on top of the tray for future connection.
Then place the all-in-one power supply on top of the CASA case
and undo the screw knob on the VESA mount located on the camera monitor pole.
Now take the all-in-one computer and flip it for easier access. Connect the power cable, then the camera USB and printer USB cables.
Now you can flip the computer back and slide it to the VESA mount, and screw in the screw knob.
Now take the printer and place it on top of the printer tray and connect the power and the printer USB cables.
With all the components installed on top of the case, we are ready to install the monitor EdgeGlide Panel.
Start by draping it around the all-in-one computer, then connect the top corners of the EdgeGlide Panel.
Once that is done, connect the two bottom corners of the EdgeGlide Panel, followed by sliding the bottom silicone edge into the EdgeGlide Panel channel.
With the bottom all connected, slide the top silicone edge of the EdgeGlide Panel, followed by the two sides of the EdgeGlide Panel. Like the other panels, the final silicone edge may feel slightly harder to get into the channel.
Once that is done, separate the black camera cover, and then unscrew the LED light cover so that each part is separated.
Snap the front white part of the cover into the EdgeGlide camera hole,
and then screw in the back part of the plate from the other side of the EdgeGlide Panel.
Now take the black camera cover and snap it into the back LED cover, making sure that the red and black connector goes through the hole of the cover.
Now put the dimmable LED knob box on top of the CASA case
and connect the red and black connector to the connector on the LED ring light.
Then place a power strip on top of the CASA case and connect all your power cables into the power strip.
Finally, connect the power strip cable to an extension cord.
Lock the CASA component case wheels so that the case is securely locked in place inside of the CASA frame.
For further stability, it’s recommended to place a sandbag on the backside of the CASA tower,
and as a pro-tip, you can store the CASA pole bag folded on the side of the CASA case inside the tower.
Now that all the components are safely installed inside the tower part of the CASA booth, connect the back EdgeGlide Panel.
Like all the other EdgeGlide Panels, start by connecting the corners of the EdgeGlide Panel.
Then pull the extension cable through the bottom right of the EdgeGlide Panel and continue connecting the corner.
Once that is done, slide the bottom silicone edge of the EdgeGlide Panel, followed by the top silicone edge of the EdgeGlide Panel. Finally, slide the two sides of the EdgeGlide Panel.
Then connect the extension cord into a wall socket,
and flip the power strip switch on.
And now turn on the all-in-one computer by pushing the power button,
followed by the on switch of the strobe light,
then the on switch of the camera,
and then turn on the LED by turning on the dimmable LED switch and removing the camera lens cover.
Turn on the printer.
Before installing the printer EdgeGlide Panel, load your paper and ink so that the printer is ready.
Install the interior backdrop of the panel.
This interior panel is pretty simple to connect and uses Velcro to attach to the inside poles of the CASA booth.
Start at the top of the interior panel,
working your way through the top of the poles,
then Velcro the side closest to the monitor EdgeGlide Panel of the booth,
and tuck the backdrop panel into the outside Velcro side of the aluminum frame. It should slide nicely to the side of the frame.
With most of the interior backdrop installed, work your way attaching the interior backdrop starting from the bottom and attaching the backdrop everywhere you see that it’s not attached until all the panels are attached to the metal frame of the booth.
Take one of the curtain rings and slide it all the way to the opposite side of the curtain rail.
Then connect the curtain to the curtain ring closest to the monitor EdgeGlide Panel,
followed by the curtain ring on the opposite side.
Slide all the curtain rings so that they are spread out more or less evenly on the curtain rod, then connect the middle curtain ring,
followed by the remaining curtain rings starting from the furthest ring up to the middle curtain ring. Continue until the entire curtain is connected.
With the booth almost completed and the components all ready to use, place the printer EdgeGlide Panel on the final wall.
Start by connecting the corner sides of the EdgeGlide Panel.
Once that is done, slide the EdgeGlide Panel bottom silicone edge into its channel,
followed by the top side,
and then complete the EdgeGlide Panel by sliding the two sides.
Finally, attach the paper catcher into the printer paper hole located on the EdgeGlide Panel.
Now that all panels are connected, place a bench inside the booth.
For more stability, place a sandbag on the backside of the CASA frame, and then slide the bench toward the back panel of the booth.
Congratulations, you have successfully set up the CASA booth.
