Photo Booth Upload offers two 'modes' of AI rendering: Stable Diffusion and Gemini (Nano-Banana). These each have their own strengths and weaknesses. While there is no specific formula to determine when to use one option over the other, we recommend starting with Nana-Banana. 

While Stable Diffusion is more literal (and slower), Nana-Banana is more interpretive (and faster). 

Below is a rough break-down of the two, but you will always need to experiment with prompts with either option.

• Use Stable Diffusion when:

  • You want consistent, brand-aligned images

  • Prompts are pre-configured or professionally designed

  • Users expect high realism or specific styles

• Use Nano-Banana when:

  • Ease of use is critical

  • You want to include specific text in the image (such as comic-book "POW")

  • The experience is playful, fast, and informal
