This guide is intended to assist with completely uninstalling PBU and Helper Tool in the case that something is corrupted or not communicating correctly with other softwares or prior to installing a new version.
For PBU and Helper, uninstall the programs through Windows as usual:
Check for any remnants of PBU and Helper Tool by deleting the following folders In Program Files under 'This PC':
Now check for the same folders in Program Data (note that you may need to check for Hidden Items for the Program Data folder to appear). Delete any folders related to PBU or PPU Helper (Do NOT delete the entire Program Data Folder from Windows, only the Photo Booth Upload and/or Helper folder within it):
Last, delete any last remnants of The Helper Tool by searching for %localappdata% in the Windows search bar, then opening the folder:
Delete the Helper folder from this path as well:
